The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held with great success from November 5th to 10th at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. As a company specializing in industrial measurement and digitalization solutions, participating for the fourth consecutive year, MEZOLEN made its presentation in the technological equipment exhibition zone (Booth No.: 4.1B1-04) under the motto "Technology Without Borders, Intelligence Shapes the Future."
Through four main thematic areas — "Safety Guardian" "Open Ecosystem" ,"Flexible Measurement," and "Green & Low-Carbon" — the company comprehensively displayed its innovative achievements in intelligent flow measurement, industrial communication, functional safety, and low-carbon transition, conveying its firm commitment to deep localization: "In China, For China."

The design of MEZOLEN's booth exudes a sense of technology and a clear mission. Its four thematic areas, each with distinctive features, together construct a complete panorama of the future of industrial measurement and digitalization:
Safety Guardian: This area focuses on high-reliability measurement solutions, exhibiting ultrasonic flow meters with SIL and explosion-proof certifications. Ideal for high-risk industries such as oil, chemicals, and gas, these devices act as "silent sentinels" within industrial systems.
Open Ecosystem: This zone offers comprehensive support for industrial protocols like HART, Modbus, and Ethernet, breaking down data barriers and enabling seamless integration between devices and systems. This drives the joint construction of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) ecosystem.
Green & Low-Carbon: In response to the "Dual Carbon Goals", this area presents high-precision measurement solutions for LNG receiving stations. It contributes to the efficient trade and use of clean energy, empowering the sector's green transformation.
Flexible Measurement: This space introduces the MP5030 series of portable ultrasonic flow meters. With their flexible installation and high-precision measurement, they realize the concept of "measuring anytime, anywhere, at will", granting users operational freedom and confidence.
The head of MEZOLEN's marketing department stated: "Although our products are often not visible to the general public, they are like air and water: an indispensable foundation for modern industry and daily life. We are not just meters; we are guardians of a safe, low-carbon, open, and intelligent future."

On November 6th, within the framework of the CIIE, MEZOLEN focused its attention on the core themes of industrial digital transformation and organized a roundtable titled "SPE Empowering Flow Measurement Technology". Among the distinguished participating guests were:
Zhao Yanling, Secretary General of the All-Network Industrial Control Systems Committee.
Wei Yi, Vice President of the All-Network Industrial Control Systems Committee.
Xi Zhijun, Deputy Manager of the Instrumentation and Control Center at Shanghai Petrochemical.
Yao Zelin, Chief APL Project Engineer at MEZOLEN.
The live event attracted over 500 concurrent online viewers, received more than 30,000 'likes', and was shared over 100 times. This roundtable delved deeply into the analysis of "The Development Trajectory of All-Network Industrial Measurement and Control Systems." Combining the technological practice of Single Pair Ethernet (SPE), it brought together three key stakeholders: standards definers, equipment manufacturers, and end-users. Focusing on the three major directions of value chain enhancement, smart production models, and energy consumption decarbonization, alongside technological integration paths such as artificial intelligence, digital twins, and edge computing, a clear path was outlined for the modernization of measurement and control systems in the process industry.
Standards First: Building the 'Regulatory Foundation' for All-Network Measurement and Control
The implementation of all-network industrial measurement and control systems cannot proceed without the 'top-level design' of standards. During the meeting, experts noted that standards development must revolve around three central directions:
Intelligent Integration: Define coordination interfaces between SPE and technologies like AI, digital twins, and edge computing, ensuring the seamless integration of equipment data into intelligent systems and lowering the entry barrier for technological fusion.
Sustainability Orientation: Incorporate energy consumption indicators into technical specifications, encouraging the development of low-power equipment and transparency in energy efficiency data, helping users achieve 'precise energy saving'.
High-Value Synergy: Through unified communication protocols and standardized data interfaces, break down compatibility barriers between equipment and drive the implementation of high value-added products and services.
Standards are not only an 'anchor point' for technological development but must also, through validation pilot projects, transform from a theoretical framework into an executable trend guide.

The Device Challenge: From "Hardware provider" to "Value service provider"
As the central executor of system implementation, equipment manufacturers face multiple challenges: technological integration, ecosystem synergy, and cost reliability. MEZOLEN pointed out that the key to overcoming this challenge lies in integrating three major trends into product development and service improvement:
Intelligent Upgrade: Through a comprehensive "hardware + software + algorithms" transformation, deep integration between device performance and intelligent analysis is achieved. For example, the SPE ultrasonic flow meter boasts an accuracy of ±0.3% and a turndown ratio of 1:1000, in addition to supporting edge computing and integration with digital twins.
Service Transformation: Transition from selling individual devices to integrated "instrumentation + platform + services" solutions, helping users exploit data value to achieve predictive maintenance and process optimization.
Sustainable Design: Simultaneous optimization of energy consumption during reliability verification, turning equipment into a support system for users to achieve a "circular economy."
Furthermore, manufacturers must actively promote ecosystem synergy, collaborating with switch manufacturers and platform developers to build a stable and efficient data communication system.
Value for the User: From "Cost reduction and efficiency improvement" to "Long-term benefits"
For users, the value of SPE technology and All-Network systems lies in transforming trends into tangible operational benefits:
Smart Operations and Maintenance: Evolution from periodic maintenance to predictive maintenance. Through real-time data analysis, failures are anticipated, reducing manual intervention and improving operational efficiency.
Green Energy: The "one network to the end" architecture simplifies cabling, reducing initial costs. Combined with comprehensive energy consumption data, it identifies high-consumption points, achieving a dual benefit of energy saving and cost reduction.
Data Capitalization: SPE enables lossless data transmission, connecting flow data with systems like ERP and MES, driving value optimization across the entire process and enabling high value-added production.
The system architecture also leaves room for future technological updates, guaranteeing the user's long-term investment value.
Trilateral Synergy: Building a New Industrial Measurement and Control Ecosystem
During the conference, it was emphasized that advancing towards All-Network systems is not a "monologue" but a "joint operation" between standards definers, manufacturers, and users:
Standards definers set the trends and provide guidance.
Equipment manufacturers materialize the technology, creating high-value products and services.
End-users, through pilot project feedback, nourish standards optimization and technological iteration.
MEZOLEN, as the organizer, expressed its commitment to continue deepening the integration of SPE technology and All-Network systems, actively participating in standards construction, collaborating with users on pilot projects, and driving the synergistic development of the industrial chain.
Leading industrial measurement, Co-founding an intelligent manufacturing future
At this edition of the CIIE, under the motto "Technology Without Borders, Intelligence Shapes the Future," MEZOLEN comprehensively showcased its cutting-edge achievements in the field of industrial measurement through four main thematic areas. The SPE technology roundtable for flow measurement, held on November 6th, elevated the event to a new height.
This technical dialogue, bringing together top-tier industry experts, not only deepened the understanding of SPE technology's application prospects in flow measurement but also demonstrated MEZOLEN's firm commitment to sector innovation. From strategic value to implementation challenges, from technological fusion to future prospects, the guests' profound insights provided a true intellectual feast for the audience.
As the "invisible guardian" of the industrial measurement field, we will continue to deepen the integrated development of SPE technology and All-Network control. With more precise measurements, a more open ecosystem, safer guarantees, and more sustainable solutions, we will advance hand in hand with partners from all sectors to create an intelligent future.
